“I first got in touch with Mike via a recommendation; I was looking for someone with good technical filming skills, preferably based in the Highlands. Upon my first chats with Mike he gave me the confidence that not only would he be able to fulfil the technical requirements but bring so much more to our day of filming as well. He encouraged me to make it more than the technical aspects I was primarily interested in and developed an outline for a mini-documentary type format. At all stages the communication with Mike was effortless and enjoyable: he just “got” what we were trying to achieve despite it being very niche and technical. On the day of the filming Mike and his team managed to capture more than we expected whilst being entirely non-intrusive; he easily became part of our team for the day. Importantly, Mike wholly understood and adhered to the HSE requirements of working in our industrial/marine environment and related limitations.
